Contracts

The contract is an essential tool in construction. It is very important that both the client and contractor know what is expected and what it will cost. The contract defines this scope and lays out procedures for how to deal with problems that may arise.  The construction contract will include: the complete  drawing set, a set of outline specifications detailing what finishes are being used, a list of allowances if applicable, a description of how and when payment shall be made, and a description of how changes in the scope will be handled.
