Pre-Design and Programming

At our intial meeting, we will meet with you to discuss the project and establish your goals and priorities. We will look at any project images that you’ve compiled, and talk with you about how you envision your project.  The purpose is for you to share with us any thoughts you have about the design. The more information you have- the better!

The goal of these initial meetings is to determine the project scope and come up with an organized list of must-have, want, and don’t-care-about items. 

We will also discuss a project budget at this time and try to establish a series of priorities to help us design your project to fit the budget.

We will do a series of measurements of your house and some preliminary drawings that will serve as the base for initial design. This are called as-built drawings.

If necessary, we will develop a code review and feasibility study to establish what can be built and whether your budget is appropriate for your project.
